Requirements.—Parsing and analysis of simple sentences, with knowledge of the ordinary terminations of English words. Writing from memory the substance of a passage of simple prose, read with ordinary quickness. 1. SET A. "Toll for the brave! Brave Kempenfelt is gone. Analyse these lines, and parse the words in italics. 2. Explain the use of the adjective brave in the first line, and give similar instances. (10.) 3.
